There was a time in my life when I wouldn’t even look twice at a red or orange stone. I knew what I liked and what I had. A one track mind of the colours I THOUGHT I needed. But something in me changed.
Last October, when I was really getting into preparing for the Autumn Equinox, I discovered carnelian. Not by chance of course but I had to do my research into how this crystal was going to fit into my life.
The more I researched the more I learned more about its properties. As a little history lesson, the orange carnelian stone was once linked to feminine energy and the menstrual cycle in Egyptian times while the red carnelian stone was linked to masculine energy that helped to embrace fierce upcoming events. I couldn’t figure out why it took me so long to welcome this crystal into my life.
The warm autumn hues serve as a reminder to release the seasons that no longer serve you and to store light inside you and face the forward path despite the path.
You can say Carnelian crystal gives that extra push to those who may be feeling slugish or down.
